What a busy weekend we had in Bray Head for our client, Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail!

DCEL completed the first of two 52hr possessions of the  Bray to Greystones rail line as part of the Bray Head Rock Netting project. We drilled and grouted over 180nr rock anchors at heights of up to 24.0m with the assistance of our good friends, Hilliard  Ground Engineering .

It was a huge effort from DCEL, Hilliard Ground Engineering ., and the Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail teams all working cooperatively to complete the works, in an area with difficult accessibility and under time constraints.

The second 52hr possession will involve the installation of over 2,500m2 of rock netting and will be completed at the end of September.

Commenced this week with a new client

Commenced this week with a new client, Greencells Group who are installing a Solar Farm. Some difficult ground conditions required us to do some predrilling. Due to the tight space between the existing installed piles we used our 8 ton Takeuchi and mast to get around.
